LGBTQ+ History - Lily C. on Zoom

LGBTQ+ people have always existed - but what about the LGBTQ+ community? Where did it come from? What has it survived - and what's next? This two-day webinar explores the origins of contemporary American LGBTQ+ communities in the 20th century, with a particular focus on the emergence of self-definition and advocacy movements. Students will gain a better understanding of LGBTQ+ culture's historical context and development over time.
